Carbon Steel Pipes for Ordinary Piping / Pressure Service

圧力Carbon Steel Pipes for Ordinary Piping / Pressure Service

Nippon Steel Pipe provides the carbon steel pipes for pressure service described below.

Applications and Features

Our carbon steel pipes for pressure service are manufactured using electric resistance welding and are usable in pipes for pressure service up to around 350°C.
Grooving corrosion-resistant electric resistance welded steel pipes (Super Seams) are needed for piping where corrosion is a concern. Contact us for details.

Chemical Composition and Mechanical Properties

Notes:

  1. Alloying elements besides those given here may be added as necessary.
  2. The No.12 and No.5 test pieces are taken form portions that do not include seams.
  3. Specifications do not apply regarding the elongation of tubes with a nominal diameter of 25A or less; they are only for record purposes. However, elongations may be stipulated on agreement between the receiving and delivering parties.
  4. When conducting the tensile test using the No.12 test piece or No.5 test piece on a tube with a wall thickness of less than 8 mm, the minimum elongation values shall be those shown in the table below.

Various Tests

D: Outer diameter of tube (mm)

Standard Dimensions / Mass and Dimensional Tolerances

The standard length of one pipe is 5,500 mm.

Standard Dimensions / Mass and Dimensional Tolerances

Notes:
The measurement of outer diameters for 350A and above can be based on the measured circumference or the outer diameter converted from the measured value. In that case(「その場合」がどちらの場合か不明、後者?), the tolerances shall be ±0.5%.
